Alma Kaes Nee: Barnes Age 81, passed away Saturday July 14, 2012 in Mayfield, Kentucky. Survived by her husband Donald Kaes; four daughters Sheryl (Robert) Richards of Mayfield, Debra (Richard) Kierstein of Benton, KY, Patti (Daniel) Gildersleeve of Murray, KY and Barbara (Rey) Gallego of Lockport, IL; two sons Ritchie (Debbie) Marquardt of Lockport, IL and Mark (Terra) Marquardt of Joliet, IL; two step-sons Roger Kaes of Calumet City, IL and William (Marian) Kaes of Homewood, IL; one sister Oma Rajala of Lockport, IL. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. Preceded in death by her daughter Lori Marquardt; step-son Todd Kaes; parents Chester and Allie (Shearer) Barnes. Born in Joliet, living in Joliet, Lockport, Peoria, Hopewell, IL and Mayfield, KY. Retired office manager with Alessio and Sons Construction Equipment. Funeral Services will be held, Tuesday July 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Tuesday morning 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
