Ardith Efner

Ardith Davis Efner of Senior Star, Romeoville passed away Thursday February 20, 2025 at Renwick Nursing Home, Joliet.

Ardith is survived by her son David (Sylvia) Efner of Joliet; son-in-law John (Loralee deceased) Residori of Deerfield, grandchildren Suzanne (Eric) Clausen of Colorado, Robert (Meghan) of Chicago, Erin (Jesse) Ososki of California and Nathan (Megan) Efner of Austin. Also great grandchildren Alina and Andrew Clausen, Liam, Elliot and Olive Ososki and Luca, Isack and Leo Residori, 

Ardith was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Robert, daughter Laura Davis and her sister Betty Davis Holper.

A graduate of St. Francis Academy and the University of St. Francis, she was employed by Laraway School District 70C until her retirement in 1978.

Following their retirements, Ardith and Robert traveled extensively through the lower forty eight states, Hawaii, Alaska and Canada and enjoyed many winters in Florida as residents of Avon Park.

Ardith was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder and Deacon. She was also active in the music program there.

Private cremation services will be accorded.
