Arthur Craig Lang III

Arthur Craig Lang III was born on October 25, 2002 in Joliet, IL to Vanessa Moore and Arthur Craig Lang Jr.

Arthur graduated from Mason City High School, June 2021 where he played basketball and football.  Arthur also enjoyed mentoring youth and working to provide for his family.

Arthur had a smile and spirit that captured everyone he encountered.  Arthur was also known for his leadership and being a protector.   Arthur accepted Christ at an early age.

Arthur took his role as the oldest very serious.  He always put his mother and brothers first no matter what.

Arthur departed life on February 6, 2022.  He was preceded in death by grandfathers Marvin Seals and Lorenzo Dunn and uncle De Andre Trotter.

Arthur leaves to mourn Arthur Jr. and Vanessa, four brothers Adonis, Armonta, Leroy, Ace, three sisters NaPorsha, Nakayah and Ariaelle.  His bonus father Leroy Trotter, grandparents Vanessa Moore, Arthur and Carolyn  Lang,  niece SaRiya, sister/cousin Terriona, special friend Zoyee Rodriguez and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation for Arthur will be held Friday February 18, 2022 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 10-12 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.   Cremation rites will be accorded.
