Barbara A. Fraser Long Age 74 passed away peacefully Monday September 12 2011 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center with her family by her side.Survived by her husband of 43 years Robert D. Fraser children Robert D. (Barbara Hofmann) Fraser II Brent (Michelle) Fraser and Lynn Anne (Scott) Arias grandchildren Madison Shelby and Payton Fraser brother George (Nicole) Long. Many close friends caregivers relatives and beloved dog Petey also survive.Preceded in death by her parents George H. and Antoinette Toni] (Medziek) Long.Born in Joliet a lifelong resident. Barbara retired from Joliet Central High School after 22 years as a secretary. Member of the First Presbyterian Church.Funeral Services will be held Thursday September 15 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Private interment will be held at Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to Provena Villa Franciscan Care Center.
