Bert H. Brandom Age 99 passed away Sunday January 2 2011 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.Survived by four daughters Donna Rae (Russ) Olson Diane (Conrad) Larez Polly Cecil and Sandra Eves three sons David Brandom Bert Brandom Jr. and James Ward numerous grandchildren great grandchildren and one great great grandchild one sister Eonne (Don) Bedwell.Preceded in death by his wife Vera (Kern) Brandom parents Harry and Jessie (Miner) Brandom three sisters Bernice Mildred and Gladys one brother Charles.Born in Joliet a lifelong resident. Retired from Naal Pack Age Store. Member of the Prince of Peace Church. Bert liked to work with wood and enjoyed sitting on the back porch swing with his dog.Funeral Services will be held Thursday January 6 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 6-8 p.m.
