Age 91, passed away March 4, 2022, at Lightways Hospice Home.

Preceded in death by her husband Gene Talbott; dear daughter-in-law Carla Talbott; parents Robert and Frances (Bartels) Williams and one brother Robert Williams.

Survived by two sons Jim (Pat) Talbott of Interlochen, MI and Bob Talbott of Sunbury, OH; grandson Mathew (Ellen) Talbott of Lake Ann, MI; granddaughter Leslie (Megan) Talbott of Fredericksburg, VA and great grandchildren Leah and Isaac.

Betty worked for 18 years at the Plainfield High School.   She enjoyed travel, visiting Europe, the Caribbean, Alaska, Canada, and several states from Maine to California.  However, she most enjoyed camping and fishing in Minnesota Northwoods and Canada.

Betty was a great cook and gardener and happiest when spending time with her family.  A Charter member of Hope United Methodist Church (Formerly Jesse Walker United Methodist Church).

Graveside services will be held, Thursday June 30, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park.   In lieu of flowers memorials to Hope United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
