Billy Carl Masters

 Age 81, passed away peacefully, Wednesday September 4, 2024 at home, with family by his side.

Survived by his loving wife of 60 years Diana (Elrod) Masters; children Edward (Heather) Masters, Larry Masters, Michael Masters and Sonya (Steve) DiNardo; grandchildren Monica, Jennifer, Bryan, Justin, Zulema, Bianca, Leylah, Mikey, Amira, Aaron, Courtney, Anthony, Amanda and Sara; 19 great grandchildren; one brother Ray Masters. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by granddaughter Aubrey; parents Grady and Linnie Masters and one sister Sue Lohorn.

Born in Sparta, TN, living in Shorewood the past 67 years. Billy retired from Ball Glass, Plainfield in 1996 and Dial Corp., Montgomery in 2009. Billy loved music, playing many different instruments. He enjoyed sports and especially watching his grandkids at their sporting events. Billy was known for fixing things around the house and cars. He was a good Christian man and was dedicated to the Lord.

Visitation will be held Sunday September 8, 2024 from 2-6 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Funeral services will be in Billy’s hometown Sparta, TN. Interment Old Zion Cemetery, Sparta, TN.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the Dementia Society of America, 188 N. Main St. Doylestown, PA 18901, dementiasociety.com would be appreciated.
