Brett A Weiler

07/02/1984 -05/28/2024

On Tuesday May 28th surrounded by loved ones, including his family and friends, Brett quietly succumbed to cancer. Known to be bullheaded by everyone that loved him, he fought it bravely and was stubborn to the end.

Preceded in death by his father Brett H Weiler and his adopted brother Bob Pasdertz. He is succeeded in life by his fiancee, Jess and their children Justice and Brody. Leaving behind, as well, his eldest son Kaeden, his daughters Hayleigh and Elle, and son Brett A Weiler Jr. He is also survived by his remaining siblings and mother.

Having been born and raised most of his life in Joliet, Illinois he gained many friends throughout the surrounding communities. He had a reputation to be funny and uplifting to anybody that needed some cheering up. He would never let a friend go without anything if he could provide the help.

Always ready with a joke or a prank with his brothers Bob and Will, their long-running joke of a bet that the last one left alive loses now assures us that he's laughing with Bob, knowing that they left Will behind to lose the game."

A Celebration of Brett’s Life will be held Friday, June 7, 2024 from 3-7 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.   In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations would be appreciated.
