Age 95, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at her home with family by her side.

Survived by her daughters Cheryl A. Haglund, Michelle L. (Charles) Prosise; Patricia H. (John) Simpson; Kathleen C. (Steve) Knoderer and Cynthia S. (Diane Piper) Shroba; grandchildren Alyssa C. Knoderer, Andrew (Mel) Knoderer, Eric (Jodi) Prosise, Steve (Jamie) Prosise, Adam (Stephanie) Prosise, Corie (Joe) Buonicore and Scott E. Simpson; great grandchildren Ella and Lydia Urbasek, Anna and Nora Prosise, Hayden, Lincoln and Easton Knoderer and Oliver Buonicore.   Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her husband Edward Shroba (2017); parents Elisha and Helen Bailey; sisters Edith (Tom) Roof, Janet (George) Kratochill and Jacqueline (Jerry) Tezak.

Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident.  Camille graduated from Joliet Township High School in 1946.  She was employed by Engis Equipment Co. in Chicago as secretary until the time of her marriage to Edward on February 14, 1953.  In 1969 she joined her husband in the insurance business.   She became a licensed agent and was co-owner of Associated Insurance Agencies of Joliet Inc., until the time of her retirement in 1989.  She and Edward spent their winters in AZ where they enjoyed many happy hours playing golf and where she had a hole-in-one.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Saturday February 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.   Interment will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.  Visitation Saturday morning starting at 10:00 a.m. until tie of Mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.  In lieu of flowers memorials to St. John the Baptist Church, Franciscan Friars of Sacred Heart, 3140 Meramec St., St. Louis, MO 63118, Joliet Noon Lions Club, Lightways Hospice or charity of your choosing.
