Carlos Garcia Sr.

Age 52, passed away Wednesday April 17, 2024 at Amita St. Joseph Medical Center.

Survived by his wife Rosa Hernandez; sons Manny (Mandi Padilla) Garcia, granddaughter Elliana Carlita Garcia and Carlos (Sarah Collins) Garcia Jr.; grandson Enzo Nicholas Garcia, Juan Cordova and Jose Cordova; four brothers Teodoro (Rosie) Garcia, Vicente Garcia, Javier (Mary Lou) Garcia and Jose Garcia; two sisters Elvia (Dayton Dawson Sr) Garcia and Marina Diaz.  Loved by numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents Joaquin and Maria E. Garcia Diaz; one sister Alma Garcia.

Born in Chicago Heights, lived in Joliet all his life.  Carlos loved his wife and children.  He enjoyed drawing, cooking and old shows like Gunsmoke, Andy Griffith and Rifleman.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.  Visitation Saturday starting at 2:00 p.m. until time of services.
