Charles F. Dillon Age 77 Completed his life journey Monday December 12 2011 at his residence after a cour Ageous battle with cancer.Survived by his three sons Kevin Paul Dillon Sean Thomas Dillon and Ian Andrew (Amy) Dillon grandchildren Haley and Ashton one sister Sandra (John) Stein cousins Alan (Georgene) Eckman and Jane (Leonard) Skuta. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.Preceded in death by his wife Marylyn (MacMillan) Dillon one son C. Scot Dillon parents Charles and Alice (Carlson) Dillon.Born in Chicago living most of his life in Joliet. Chuck graduated from Joliet Township High School Joliet Junior College and the University of Illinois. He severed in the Army Reserve. Retired from ComEd after 42 years. Chuck was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church were he served as an Elder a Deacon and for many years the Church Treasurer. He enjoyed his cabin up in Ely Minnesota.A Memorial Service will be held at the Westminster Presbyterian Church on Monday December 19 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. William Robinson officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials to Westminster Presbyterian Church or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
