Charles E. Oliver Age 79 passed away Friday June 24 2011 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center.Survived by his wife Carolyn (Churchill) Oliver two daughters Pam (John) Offerman and Marie (John) Butuso grandchildren Julie (Nick) Maile Kimberly (Don) McKinney John Charles Offerman Shirley Dakota and Nelson Butuso great grandchildren Annabelle Allison and Samantha Maile Layla McKinneyone brother Floyd Oliver. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.Preceded in death by two sons Charles F. and Robert Oliver parents Charles and Ethel Oliver two brothers Earl and Glen Oliver and one sister Eleanor Phelps.Born in Joliet a lifelong resident. Charles was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Retired from Caterpillar after 41 years of service. His greatest pleasure in life were watching his family and enjoyed being out in the yard.Funeral Services will be held Tuesday June 28 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Interment Plainfield Township Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4-8 p.m. Memorials to the donors choice would be appreciated.
