Age 96, passed away Tuesday March 21, 2023 at Northwestern Kiswaukee Hospital, DeKalb, IL.

 Survived by her son and daughter-in-law Martin E. and Mary M. (Kijowski) Simonic; one daughter and son-in-law Suzanne and James Brown; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

 Preceded in death by her husband Edward J. Simonic; parents Clare C. and Helen F. (Vyskocil) Connor and one sister Gloria A. Warning.

 Born in Joliet, living in Crest Hill most of her life.  Graduated from St. Joseph School of Nursing, Class of 1948.   Claire retired from St. Joseph Hospital where she was a nurse for many years.   Member of St. Anne Catholic Church. 

 Funeral from the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, Tuesday March 28, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. to St. Anne Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.   Interment Resurrection Cemetery.   Visitation Monday 3-7 p.m.
