Age 76, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Lightways Hospice Home.

Survived by his loving wife Susann (Persha) Theobald; two sons Tim (Lori) Theobald and Jeff (Jo Lynn) Theobald; grandchildren Tyler, Emilee, Kayla, Kelsey, Madalynn and Ryan; one brother Carl (Carol) Theobald. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by his parents Frank A. and Frances Theobald and one brother Tony Theobald.

Born in Joliet, living in Wilmington. A veteran of the U.S. Army. Clifford retired from Caterpillar after 15+ years. He and Susann volunteered together at St. Joseph Medical Center for many years. He enjoyed fishing and camping at Meneoka Camp Grounds.

Funeral services will be held, Monday September 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Interment St. Mary Nativity Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 1-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Joliet Miracle League, P.O. Box 3617, Joliet, IL 60434.
