Coletta T. Riffel Nee: Merriman Age 86, passed away suddenly, Sunday June 9, 2013 at her home. Survived by two sons Greg (Nellie) Riffel and Larry (Bonnie) Riffel; one daughter Donna Riffel; grandchildren Jennifer (James) Hungate, Tamara Kirk, Steven Kirk and Colton Riffel; great grandchildren Nicholas, Mark and Andrew; three brothers Paul (Pat), Ray and Bob Merriman; two sisters Helen (Dick) Brouch and Ann (Bob) Mandel; sister-in-law Mary Jane Merriman; brother-in-law Bob Freis. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her husband Albert Riffel; parents Edward and Marie (Kinn) Merriman; brother Edward Merriman and sister Marie Freis. Born in Joliet, living in Joliet after 20 years in Mesa, AZ. Member of the Ladies Auxiliary Cantigny Post # 367 V.F.W. Coletta was a master at Word Search Puzzles. Funeral from the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, Thursday June 13, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
