Donald Fodor

Donald Paul Fodor, age 59, passed away on Saturday August 3, 2024 with his brother Dwayne who was his constant companion, friend, and caregiver by his side.

Donald was born on August 16, 1964 to the late Francis (2011) and Mildred (Groark) (2016) in Joliet, IL.

Donald loved fishing and wrestling and would attend live wrestling events whenever possible.

In addition to his brother Dwayne, he is survived by his sister Diane Duff of Costa Mesa, CA and his sister Dona (Eric) Greenwell of Belmont, NC. Also surviving are his nephew Jason Duff of Costa Mesa, CA, niece Kristin (Victor) Alkano and her sons Anthony, Dominick and Alexander of Suffolk, VA and David (Allison) Lathrop and their children Harvey and Vivian.

In addition to his siblings, Donald is survived by his special caring, loving, and compassionate cousins Nancy Harrington and Drs. John and Terry Walsh. Their unending support, guidance, and caring shall always be remembered and appreciated.

The Celebration of Life honoring Donald Fodor will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, 1500 Black Rd, Joliet, IL. Visitation Friday morning 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
