Edwin F Pomykala

POMYKALA, EDWIN F. "POOCH" Age 81, passed away Monday June 24, 2013 in Kankakee, IL. with his loving family by his side. Edwin was preceded in death by his wife Margaret ( Peggy )(May 2013). His parents Franchesiek and Caroline Pomykala, his brothers Walter, Clement, Stanley, Stephen and John. Sisters Pauline (Pomykala) Sefcik, Stella (Pomykala) Belekewicz-Russel-Hancock and Virginia (Pomykala) Wiersham-Jadron. He is survived by his loving children, Daryl Pomykala, Michelle (Timothy) Annis, Lester Pomykala, Tina Weir, Lisa (Joseph) Hamilton and Laura (Joseph) St. George; his 12 devoted grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Three sister-in-laws Lorraine (Stephen Pomykala) Brown, Pauline (Viano) Pomykala and Marilyn Swiersz and brother-in-law Daniel Swiersz. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Ed and his wife would have been married 60 years September 2013, he loved spending time with family and friends both here and in their retirement home in Osage Beach, Missouri. A Memorial Service will be held at Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home 1500 Black Rd. Sunday June 30, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. Visitation on Sunday from 1:00 until time of services. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Joliet Area Community Hospice.
