Emil R. Bellas Age 96 passed away suddenly Sunday April 24 2011 at his home.Survived by three sons David Robert and Richard (Diana) Bellas one daughter Roxane one grandson Ryan Bellas two step graddaughters Natalie Schoenbrook and Nichole MatovichPreceded in death by his wife Ann (Miller) Bellas brother John Bellas two sisters Fannie Ida Killinen.Born in Marquette MI a Joliet resident since 1947. W.W. II Army Veteran. Retired from Joliet Arsenal and Lemont Manufacturing after 30 years. Member of St. Peter Lutheran Church for over 60 years. Emil was an avid pianist accordionist and composer.Funeral Services will be held Thursday April 28 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Interment Hills of Rest Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home and Thursday morning 10:00 a.m. until time of services at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Memorials to St. Peter Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
