Floyd Oliver

Age 95, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021, at Rock Run Place.

Survived by numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ethel Oliver; three brothers Earl, Glen and Charles Oliver; one sister Eleanor Phelps; one niece and two nephews.

Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident. Graduated from Joliet Township High School. World War II Navy Veteran. He retired from Chevron Oil Company in Lockport. Member of the Moran A.C. Floyd played baseball for all the local ball clubs, playing shortstop. Being an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan he went to several World Series.

Private funeral services were held, Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Interment Plainfield Township Cemetery.
