Age 91, passed away, Friday October 21, 2022 in Carmel, IN.

Survived by his wife Karen Wilfong Ellis; children Diane Sasser, Harold Jonathon Ellis, Sharon (Felipe) Gutierrez, James (Denise) Ellis and Robert Ellis; brother Paul (Lisa) Ellis; stepsons Bill and Bryan (Julie) Peksenak.  Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchild, nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by his first wife Christene; parents John and Hazel Ellis; grandson Jonathan Joseph Ellis;  great grandson Clayton Mast; brothers Gene Ellis Jake Terlep and step son Bob Peksenak.

Harold was a proud Navy Veteran of the Korean War.  He loved his golf outings, bowling and fishing, but mostly family time at the family vacation home.  He was a very generous man with time and talent, recently earned his 10 year pin for volunteering for Meals on Wheels.  He was loved so much by so many and will be truly missed.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.   Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.  Visitation Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
