Herman R. Beck Age 84 passed away Wednesday December 8 2010 at his home.Survived by his wife of 63 years Margaret (Snure) Beck two sons Herman Robert (Karen) Beck and Dr. Daniel (Sheri) Beck one daughter Cheryl Gordon 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.Preceded in death by his parents Herman W. and Catherine (Russ) Beck two sisters Charlene Blaess and Joyce Alexander.Born in Joliet a lifelong area resident. Retired Fire Chief from Argonne National Laboratory after 32 years of service. Herman and Margaret enjoyed camping and traveling after retirement.As it was Hermans request Cremation Rites have been accorded. Services will be held at a later date.
