Jeanette M. Grenke

Jeanette Grenke set the standard as one of the most devoted grandmothers ever. The past twelve years up to her death on May 15th, 2024, she held the title of guardian/foster parent for four grandchildren due to circumstances beyond her control. 

 Born March 31st, 1964 to Jim Kunke and Kathleen (Decman) Kunke-McGuire. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Matthew Kunke. 

 Jeanette graduated from Joliet West High School. Shortly after, she embarked on a 38-year career which ended as one of the most respected senior escrow closers for First American Title the industry has ever seen. 

 She is survived by her son, Steven Voitik, stepson Christopher Grenke, daughter Shannon Voitik, stepdaughter Briana Huetson, husband Keith Grenke, ex-husband Greg Voitik. Granddaughters, Savannah Voitik, Ava Williams, Kassidy Wilson and Kaylee Grenke. Grandsons, Elijah and Micah Hernandez and Zackary Grenke. Stepbrother John McGuire and stepsisters Noreen Nielson and Tina McGuire. 

 The family service will be held on Saturday, June 8th at the Table located on 1451 B Black Rd., Joliet, IL 60435. 

Meet and greet will be held from 11:30am-1;30pm. Services start at 1:30pm.
