Joanne Margaret Dodge

Joanne M. Dodge Matecki Age 78 passed away Tuesday November 29 2011 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center with her family by her side.Survived by her loving children David (Mary Beth) Dodge Richard Dodge Jeffrey (Terry) Dodge Michael (Rhonda) Dodge and daughter Donna (William) Brown cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her best friend Poppy her dog. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.Preceded in death by her husband Richard Dodge parents Andrew and Anna Matecki one brother Eddie (Lottie) Matecki and one sister Lorraine (Stan) Larson.Born in Chicago living in Joliet. Joanne worked in nursing for Sunny Hill Nursing Home until her retirement. She loved her grandchildren and being involved in all their activities. She was an avid traveler gardener and volunteered at the Senior Service Center in the computer center. Joanne will be deeply missed by her family and friendsA Memorial Service will be held Saturday December 3 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Visitation Friday 4-8 p.m. Memorials to the Senior Service Center would be appreciated.
