Age 90, passed away peacefully, Sunday August 13, 2023 at Lightways Hospice Home.

Survived by her children Rodney (Sandra) Archambeau, Denise (Ted) Woolsey, Rhonda (John) Gierich and JoAnn (Frank) Sharp; grandchildren Jonathan (Rachel) Gierich, Teddy (Daphne) Woolsey, Amanda Woolsey, Samantha Sharp, Jillian (Alvaro) Frias and Dominique Archambeau; two great grandchildren Rhys Gierich and Gavin Gierich.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her parents Walter and Emma (Smeets) Soland; siblings Helen Berkeci, Walter Soland, Raymond Soland, Caroline McFadden, Betty McCarthy, Irene Soland and Henry Soland.

Josephine was born in Joliet, living in Joliet most of her life until moving to Shorewood four years ago.   She worked at the Army Ammunition Plant, Up John Health Care and Town and Country Bowling Lanes.  Josephine enjoyed Word search and Jigsaw puzzles, Bowling, playing cards and watching sports especially the Chicago Bulls.   Loved spending time with her family.

Funeral Services will be held, Wednesday August 16, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.   Visitation Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until time of services.   Private interment services will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers memorials in Josephine Archambeau name may be made to Lightways Hospice, Friends of Sunnyhill or charity of your choice.
