Age 78, passed away Thursday April 10, 2025 at the William J. Riley Memorial Residence.

Survived by three sons Brian (Janet) Inglese Sr., Joshua Giegerich and Adam (Erica) Giegerich; grandchildren Brian (Haleigh) Inglese Jr., Rachel Inglese, Joshua and Jacob Giegerich, Avery and Rory Giegerich; great grandson Brian Inglese III; one sister Pat Zelenka. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her husband Dr. Clare Giegerich; parents Robert and Della (Kirby) Connolly; brother Tom Connolly and sister Lynore Pierce.

Born in Chicago, living in Lansing, IL and Schererville, IN the past 45 years. Kay graduated from Servite High School in Ladysmith, Wisconsin.

She enjoyed playing bocce ball and bowling, but her favorite past time was playing golf with her dear friends at Briar Ridge Country Club.  Most importantly, Kay loved spending time with her family over a great meal and a glass of wine.  She will be dearly missed.

Funeral Services will be held at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 19058 Burnham Ave., Lansing, IL on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation Wednesday morning 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Our Saviour Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Kay’s name to Our Saviour Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
