Larry Yates

Larry Yates Age 76, passed away Thursday January 3, 2013 at his residence. Survived by his children daughter Kimberly (Salvatore) Della Fave, daughter Tina (Eric) Leasure and son Larry (Phillis) Yates Jr; grandchildren Stephanie and Joshua Conroy, Jennifer Weir, Matthew, Sean, Jill and Paige Boban, Nico Della Fave, Brandon, Noah and Tara Yates and Kristina Demere; numerous great grandchildren; two sisters Jolene Killman loving partner Kenny Lewis and Donna Ray (Dale) Ferrel. Preceded in death by his parents Harold and Vera Yates; one sister in infancy Judith Yates. Born in Carrie Mills, IL, living in Joliet most of his life. U.S. Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean Aira. Retired 23 years from Joliet Correction Center. Larry played professional drums for many years. Larry was an avid White Sox and Bears fan. Funeral Services will be held Monday January 7, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Visitation 2:00 p.m. until time of services.
