Louis L. Lange

Age 89, passed away, Friday May 3, 2024 at Lightways Hospice Home.

Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Virginia (Lannoy) Lange; one sister Charlotte Baumgartner; nieces and nephews Kay Canavino, Bill Baumgartner, Barbara Baumgartner, John Baumgartner, Georgene Lange and LuAnne Harkins; numerous great nieces and great nephews also survive. 

Preceded in death by his parents Adolph and Alice (Dorris) Lange; sisters Evelyn Smith, Dorothy Canavino and Ruth Lange; one brother Norman Lange.

Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident.  He graduated from Joliet Township High School Class of 1952.  A U.S. Army Veteran.  Louis owned Lange Manufacturing Company.

Member of Matteson Lodge #175 A.F. & A.M., Joliet Commandery #4 Knights Templers and Scottish Rite.   

Funeral Services will be held at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, Tuesday May 7, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.   Interment with Military Honors will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.   Visitation Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.   In lieu of flowers memorials to Shriner’s Hospital, 2211 North Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60635, www.shrinerschildrens.org would be appreciated.
