Lyn Goetschel Halweg Age 64 passed away Monday August 15 2011 at Rush Copley Medical Center Aurora IL.Survived by her husband Lloyd Goetschel three sons Tom (Tara) Goetschel Jeffrey (Jamie) Goetschel Scott Goetschel grandchildren Zachary Matthew and Lauren Goetschel Ashleigh and Tyler Goetschel mother Lois Halweg one brother Gordon (Adele) Halweg Jr. nieces Susan (Ted) Adrien and Amiee (Dan) Divane. Numerous great nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by her father Gordon Halweg in-laws Helen and Robert Goetschel.Born in Joliet a Plainfield resident. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. Lyn enjoyed traveling and camping.A Celebration to honor Lyns life will occur on Friday August 19 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
