Margaret Quoss

Margaret "Marge" Quoss Nee: Bonnes Age 86, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012 at her home with family by her side. Loving mother of Catherine (Michael) Russ, Richard (Beth) Quoss, Patricia Shanley, Margaret Quoss, Colette (Harry) Urban, Joan (Dale) Quaresima, Sharon (Rich) Rudy, Thomas (Chona) Quoss, Timothy Quoss and Diane (Brian) Dowd. Grandmother to 28 and great grandmother to five. Sister of Elizabeth "Bebe" Anderson. Numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Dean G. Quoss, granddaughter Allie Dowd, parents Frank and Gladys Bonnes and brother-in-law, Donald Anderson. Born in Stillwater, MN, Marge lived in Joliet the past 53 years. A devout Catholic, Marge was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, CCW of St. Paul's, Christian Family Movement and a dedicated volunteer at Provena St. Joseph Women's Auxiliary for over 50 years. She was recognized for her volunteerism with the Lions Club Silver Eagle Award. She was a Girl Scout and Cub Scout Leader and enjoyed her bridge clubs and bowling. Visitation Friday 3 - 8 pm. Funeral from the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Provena St. Joseph Women's Auxiliary or Allie's Friends Foundation would be appreciated.
