Margaret M. "Maggie" Williams

Margaret M. Williams (Maggie) passed away October 11, 2023 at Ascension Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.  She was born December 1, 1932 to the late John and Margaret O’Donnell.   A lifelong Joliet resident, Maggie married the late Tom Williams at Saint Patrick Catholic Church on August 8, 1958.

She is survived by her three children, Lisa (Dave) Rumsey, Tim (Pam Kostecki) Williams and Craig Williams.  Proud Grandmother of Erin and Patrick Rumsey, Lauren Williams and Brady Kostecki.  She also leaves several special nieces and close friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister Jack and Jean, her mother and father-in-law Robert and Helen Williams; brothers and sisters-in-law Richard, Donald, ZoeAnn and Joyce Williams; one nephew Doug Williams.

Maggie loved to spend time with family and friends at the lake in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.  She was especially proud to see each of her grandchildren become college graduates.

A Celebration of Life open house will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Mistwood Golf Club, 1700 W. Renwick Rd, Romeoville, IL from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  There will be a memorial Mass and Interment of cremains in Rhinelander, WI in the summer, 2024.
