Mary Ann Clennon, 86, died peacefully at home in Joliet IL September 26th, 2024. Born to Nicholas and Margaret (nee Salata) Kirincich January 4th,1938 in Joliet IL. She is survived by her daughters, Maggie Clennon Reberg and Maureen Clennon, granddaughter Grace Reberg, brother Nicholas (Betty) Kirincich, sisters Christy (Richard deceased ) Boban and Patricia (William deceased ) Frescura. Also many cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Richard J Clennon, infant son Joseph Clennon and infant grandson Aaron Clennon Reberg, her parents and infant brother Jimmy Kirincich. Educated at St. John the Baptist School, St Francis Academy Class of 1955 and St Joseph School of Nursing. She began her nursing career at St Joseph’s hospital in Joliet before moving to Detroit, Michigan where she worked in the ER until she retired. She moved back to Joliet to be closer to family in 2000. Cremation rites have been accorded at Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home and memorial mass will be held Thursday, October 10th at St Mary Nativity, 706 N. Broadway St., Joliet at 10 am. Private Interment will be held at St. Mary Cemetery in Minooka at a later date. Donations to Lightways Hospice 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431. Mary Ann was devoted to saying the Rosary and her parting words were “God Bless You Always in All Ways.”
