Mitchell "Mitch" Alan Dean passed away suddenly on the morning of March 5, 2023 in Atlanta, Ga.   He was born in Joliet on May 14, 1989.  Mitch was employed as a Project Manager for Contract Hardware.  He was a free spirit who loved with his whole heart.  Mitch could light up the room with his smile.  He enjoyed gaming with friends and spending time with his best pup, Debbie.

He is survived by mother Wendy (Wayne) Erickson; father James (Brittany) Dean; Grandmother Sharon (Thom) Knutson; Uncle Mark (Kathleen) Dean and Uncle Paul Dean. Along with many cousins, other family members and friends.

Mitch was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Jean and Paul Dean; Maternal Grandfather James R. Krause, Great Grandparents Joe &  Betty Fredrick. And his younger brother, who he loved and adored.

Memorial Visitation for Mitch will be at Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home on Friday April 14 ,2023 from 3 to 7 PM.   Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow.
