Ray D. Dilday
Age 88, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at LIghtways Hospice Home.
Survived by his wife Irma A. (Rahlfs) Dilday; two sons Les (Pam) Dilday and Mark (Kathleen) Dilday; grandchildren Kelsey, Cailin, Allyson and Hanna Dilday. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Mary Dilday; one sister Alice Eggemeyer and one brother John Dilday.
Born in Rockwood, IL, a Minooka resident since 1959. Ray was a U.S. Army Veteran. Retired pilot flying air cargo carriers. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Funeral Services will be held, Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Interment with full military honors will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until time of services at Our Savior Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers memorials to Our Savior Lutheran Church or Lightways Hospice & Serious Illness Center (formerly known as Joliet Area Community Hospice) would be appreciated.
