Raymond E. Segerberg

Age 60, passed away Sunday May 7, 2023 at Morris Hospital.

Survived by his wife Tamara (Harmon) Segerberg; mother Joan (Weber) Segerberg; two sons Raymond (Lauren) and James Segerberg; five step-children Danielle, Kayla, Christian, Lauren and Ashley; three grandchildren Gage, Zoey and Reed; 10 step-grandchildren Ashley, Eric, Alex, Elizibeth, Noah, Jesiah, Brenden, Logan, Mila and Aubrey; one sister Arlene (Alan) Chrossfield; one brother John (Cindy) Segerberg; half brother Shaun; half sister Tammy; aunt and uncle Carol and Richard Smrekar; uncle Jack O’Brien.  Special fur baby Sassy.   Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special river family.

 Preceded in death by one son Michael (1985) and father John (2005).

 Born in Joliet, living in Gardner, IL.  Graduated from Joliet Central High School.  Retired from Laborer’s Local #75.  Ray enjoyed boating and fishing on the river and in the UP of Michigan.   He was a member of the South Wilmington Firemen’s Beach and Park Club.

 Visitation will be held on Saturday May 13, 2023 from 1:00-3:30 p.m. with a funeral service at 3:30 p.m.   As per Raymond’s wishes cremation rites will follow the service.  In lieu of flowers to memorials to the family or American Diabetes Association

Private interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park II at a later date.
