Richard J Spese Age 72 passed away Saturday August 14 2010 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with his loving wife ad son and friends by his side. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Marie his son John and daughter Donna (Greg) Boness three grandchildren Edward (Valerie) Boness Stephanie (Jeffery) Brzowski and Andrew (Sarah) Boness. Three great grandchildren Lillie and Asher Boness and Judemicheal Boness. Two sisters Jean (Jim) Maro Vicki (Richard) Powell and a brother James Spese. Numerous nieces nephews and special cousins Marguerite and Gregory Morris also survive.Preceded in death by his parents John and Anna Bell (nee Collier) Spese.Richard was very proud of his affiliation in getting the Special Olympics program started in Joliet. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Marys Immaculate Church in Plainfield IL Friday August 20 2010 at 10:30am.. NO VISITATION. According to Richards wishes cremation rites were accorded. In lieu of flowers memorial to Joliet Area Community Hospice in Richards name would be appreciated.
