Roxane M. Holt

Roxane Holt, 59, passed away tragically on February 18^th. She was a beloved, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Roxane was born January 3, 1965, in Joliet, Illinois, where she spent her formative years and continued to live most of her adult life. She graduated from Joliet West and went on to attend the College of St. Francis and later went to work at Sheffield Steel. This is where she met the love of her life, Walter “Buddy” Kretzler. Roxane loved Buddy dearly and they were married over thirty years. She loved playing with her four dogs and going out to see the horses she and Buddy had.  She loved celebrating the holidays and especially Christmas, hosting it many times over the years. Her love and generosity will be missed.

Roxane is survived by her parents, Charles and Rose Holt, her brother, Kevin and his wife Stephanie and her nieces, Sydney, Sheridan and Evie Holt.  Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

A joint funeral with her husband, Walter will be held Monday February 26, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.  Visitation Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
