William H. Marker Age 54, passed away Tuesday June 5, 2012 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Survived by his wife Linda Marker; children William A. Elizabeth R. Robert E.; one sister Cheryl (Stephen) Draun; nephews David and Colin and niece Cathy. Preceded in death by his parents William and Betty Marker. Born in Chicago, IL, living in Joliet for the past 23 years. William was a Professor at Lewis University. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Member of Holy Family Parish, SPEBSQSA (Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America), four different choruses and was active in his sons Boy Scout Troup. Funeral from the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, Saturday June 9, 2012 at 9:45 a.m. to Lewis University Chapel for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Friday 3-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be greatly appreciated.
